Got GAS?

With oil hovering around 70 dollars a barrel, where is unleaded gasoline headed? The first question one must ask is.....Where's all this deflation everyone talking about? Besides personal asset deflation (home valuations, savings interest rates) you'll be hard pressed to find deflation anywhere. Gasoline and Oil are traded in dollars. If the dollar declines in value, the higher Gas and Oil prices will be. Pretty Simple. What's in the cost of a gallon of gas?Base Price + Fed Tax of 18.4 cents per gallon + State Tax average of 20 cents per gallon + State Sales Tax around 5% average + Gas Station Charges = WHAT YOU PAY AT THE PUMP. Now look at the charts and see if you can figure out where unleaded gas is headed.
